Experience Gatherings - 20s

Running Club (Ages 22–39)

If you’re a runner, jogger, or power walker, lace up those shoes! All levels are welcome for this weekly Gathering. Participants will meet on-site at local parks, including Piedmont Park, Blackburn Park, and Cochran Shoals Trail. This Gathering will begin Saturday, February 20. Participants will receive an email the week of February 14 with more information regarding the Gathering itinerary and meeting locations.

North Georgia Hikes (Ages 22–39)

Get some fresh air and meet new friends while hiking some of North Georgia’s best trails. Gathering participants will meet at Browns Bridge Church and carpool to their hike sites; please anticipate a drive time of approximately one hour. Hikes include Raven Cliff Falls, Panther Creek Falls, Long Creek Falls, and more. Participants should be comfortable with moderate to strenuous physical activity and hikes of two hours or more. Outdoor Adventures (Saturday: Ages 22–35)

Enjoy a variety of outdoor activities including hiking, paintball, camping, and more. Gathering participants will meet at the church and carpool to their activity sites throughout the metro-Atlanta area. Please anticipate an average weekly cost of $5 to $20. ATL Brunch (Ages 25–35)

Do you like brunch? Then this is the perfect Gathering for you! Come join us as we venture out to eat the best meal of the day at restaurants such as Sweet Auburn BBQ, 5 Seasons, Einstein’s, and Pijiu Belly before making our way to the 1:00 p.m. service at Buckhead Church. Think your workout clothes are ready for some actual exercise instead of just grocery shopping? We do too! Participants in this Gathering will work out together in instructor-led classes intended to exercise the body and the spirit. Each week you'll get to choose whether you’re interested in the aerobics/calisthenics team or the Pilates/yoga team. Gathering participants will meet on location at a venue in Buckhead. House Party (Ages 22–35)

Join other Atlanta singles at a home in Buckhead for trivia, board games, an in-home service project, chili cook-off, and more. Gathering participants will likely meet at the host home after attending the 6:00 p.m. service at Buckhead Church. Please anticipate a drive time of 10 to 15 minutes. Get ready to show off your best moves with this Gathering, which will feature private, professional dance instruction in Latin dances, including the rumba, cha-cha, mambo, and salsa. Gathering participants will meet at the dance studio, which is in Marietta (East Cobb). No previous experience is required; partners will be randomly assigned and frequently rotated.
